Chief Executive Signs Bill to Release Additional Epstein Records After Period of Pushback

The President announced on late Wednesday that he had endorsed the measure decisively passed by American lawmakers that directs the justice department to make public more documents regarding the deceased financier, the dead pedophile.

This decision arrives after months of resistance from the president and his supporters in the legislature that split his political supporters and caused divisions with certain loyal followers.

Trump had opposed disclosing the Epstein documents, describing the matter a "hoax" and railing against those who attempted to publish the files available, notwithstanding pledging their publication on the election circuit.

Nevertheless he altered his position in the past few days after it became apparent the House of Representatives would approve the bill. The president stated: "There are no secrets".

It's not clear what the justice department will make public in as a result of the legislation – the bill outlines a range of potential items that need to be disclosed, but includes exemptions for specific records.

The President Approves Measure to Force Disclosure of Further Epstein Files

The legislation requires the attorney general to make public related records open for review "in an easily accessible digital format", covering each examination into Jeffrey Epstein, his associate his accomplice, aircraft records and movement logs, individuals referenced or named in relation to his illegal activities, entities that were connected with his human trafficking or financial networks, immunity deals and other plea agreements, organizational messages about charging decisions, records of his confinement and death, and particulars about potential document destruction.

The justice department will have thirty days to submit the documents. The measure provides for specific exclusions, such as deletions of victims' identifying information or personal files, any descriptions of minor exploitation, publications that would jeopardize ongoing inquiries or prosecutions and descriptions of demise or mistreatment.
